At one time or another our lives are touched by the tragedy illness brings. For Rebecca and Scott Doig, their tragedy is magnified by the knowledge that their first child, due in April this year, will grow up without a mother.
In late 2009 at the age of 31 Rebecca Doig became the first woman in the world to be diagnosed with a rare form of degenerative Alzheimer’s.
On behalf of Scott Doig, who works at Hornsby Council, the council’s staff Social Club is seeking your support to raise funds to ensure that Scott can provide his wife and child with the care they need.
